Sample Police Report

The Records Division of the Pevely Police Department consists of one full-time secretary.  The Records Clerk is responsible for filing and tracking police reports. The Records Clerk maintains a working relationship with other agencies such as The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, City of Pevely Court Staff, Probation and Parole, and other Police Agencies. The Records Division is an asset to the day to day operations of the Police Department.

For questions regarding Police Reports you may contact records at (636)475-5301 you may also send fax requests to (636)475-4632.  Please allow 7-10 business days after the incident before requesting copies of Police Report.  (Certain information, such as suspects or arrest information may not be given out until that person has been formally charged with the crime by the prosecuting attorney’s office.)

Per ordinance 1271 an additional research fee for open records will be based on quarter-hourly increments at the average hourly rate of pay for clerical staff. Each page of the report may be charged at up to ten cents ($0.10) per page.

Copies of Police Reports may be obtained from the Pevely Police Department Records Division Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a fee of $15.00

Motor vehicle accident reports may be obtained online at www.buycrash.com for a fee.
