City Parks

Pevely is home to five parks located in various sections of town. Stacey Reece/Veteran’s Memorial Park (60 Main St.) and Ellis Bage Park (601 Glenwood Dr.) have pavilions that may be rented. Joe Whaley Park (Pinson Ct.) has a swingset, while Stacey Reece Park (Joachim St.) is a limited access, open, grassy area with a fitness trail. We have received a 26 acre donation by the Gundaker Commercial group of park/wetlands along Herky-Horine Road.

Pevely Park

Pevely Park - 60 Main Street

Pevely Park is located on Main Street, 1/4 mile South of Highway Z.  It spans 10 acres and is the most developed of our parks.  The City is allowed use of the land through agreements with the Dunklin R-5 School District and Union Pacific Railroad.

Ellis Bage Park Pavilion

Ellis Bage Park Pavilion - 601 Glenwood Drive

Ellis-Bage Park is located on Glenwood Drive, between Sims Meadow Drive and Westwood Drive.  It is the third largest of our parks, and contains a pavilion, a playground and basketball court.  The Park was originally developed by the Pevely Lions Club, and was set aside by residents of the Rio Vista subdivision as a park before joining the City.

Joe Whaley Park

Joe Whaley Park

Joe Whaley Park sits at the end of Pinson Court.  This 2+ acre site has a swingset and open area for recreation use.

Stacey Reece Park

Stacey Reece Park

Stacy Reece Park is located at the end of Joachim Drive.  This 2+ acre site has walking trail equipment for use.  The land for the park was donated to the city by the family of Stacy Reece, a resident who died during the Vietnam War.  Access is by foot off Joachim St. south of West 3rd.  The plan in 2012 is to pave a 4 foot wide walking path around the perimeter of the park.
