Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement and Building Department oversees all construction activities to ensure proper compliance with the building codes adopted by the Board of Aldermen. They also cover new building construction, storm water detention, soil compaction, solid waste complaints, high weeds, zoning issues, occupancy inspections and building inspections on decks, sheds, pools, fences, driveways, and more. Code Enforcement is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Draft MS4 Permit Renewal: 2021-2026 Permit Term

The City of Pevely in Jefferson County, Mo, with five (5) Jefferson County Municipalities (Co-Permittees) will be submitting a permit application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to renew its MS4 permit in April. (General State Operating Permit MO-R040005). The Stormwater Management Plan outlines the activities that the co-permittees will carry out to help improve our water quality and comply with the permit. The draft permit application and supporting Stormwater Management can be viewed here: DRAFT MS4 PERMIT. A virtual open house will be held on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at 6:00pm.
