The City of Pevely Street Department is located in the Southwest portion of the city near Interstate 55 next to the Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Street Department consists of a five-man crew:
- Ken Williams, Supervisor
- Scott Barker
- Donnie Westmoreland
- Darren Blake
- Steve Brust
The Street Dept. is presently located in a new 42’ X 96’ building and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment:
- Four 2-ton dump trucks with salt spreaders and plows.
- Two backhoes
- Four utility trucks
- One bucket trucks
- One side-mount mower
This equipment is used for street maintenance and snow removal. The Street Department maintains over 48 miles of streets. The Street Department also cares for all of the storm sewer drains, ditches, striping and street signs.
The Street Dept. also does the
spraying for Mosquito Control.
