The Field Operations Division falls under the direct supervision of Captain Dave Kaltenbronn, who oversees all of the Field Operation Divisions assignments. Field Operations covers many areas of service including road patrol, motorcycle patrol, juvenile services, internal affairs, and investigations. In addition to these areas of service Field Operations also supervises a reserve officer division and officers involved in SRT (Special Response Team), which is a tactical team comprised of officers from the Crystal City, Festus, and Pevely Police Departments.

The Pevely Police Departments Patrol division is comprised of 10 POST Certified officers who are assigned to three platoons. Three Sergeants supervise these platoons. The Road Patrol Division patrols the City of Pevely streets and handles all calls for service as well as enforces all criminal and traffic laws of the City of Pevely and the State of Missouri.

The Pevely Police Department supplements the Patrol Division by utilizing a Reserve Officer program. The Reserve Officers are POST Certified volunteer officers, who provide that same services as the full time officers.

The Pevely Police Department has a motorcycle patrol, with two officers assigned to this area. The motorcycle is utilized in all patrol assignments as long as weather permits, and also during special events such as parades.
