The City of
Pevely, Missouri is a quaint community
of nearly 4,200 inhabitants located
along the Interstate Highway 55 corridor
immediately south of St. Louis. The
community, which sits between the
Mississippi River on the east and a
scenic inland plateau area to the west,
has a long rich and colorful past. The
area was settled in 1799, became a
village in 1910, and present day Pevely
was incorporated in 1953. It can be said
that the history of the community is a
history based on strong family values
and a pioneering work ethic. The Pevely
of today remains dedicated to
maintaining its traditional core values
and fostering a positive atmosphere for
modern family living.
